Southern Grounds Avondale is an 8,000 sq. ft. renovation of a once dilapidated building found in the middle of a vibrant, historical shopping center. With the guidance and approval of the Historic Preservation Committee we were able to create a modern take on this historical storefront. Comprising of 2 adjacent retail shops, we created a light, energizing and refreshing coffee shop attached to a brand new art gallery. The goal for this coffee shop design was to match the atmosphere with a gathering spot for the community.
